#phi030 | One strange night in the Spring of 2006, Recompas (Travis Thatcher) Dry Lungs (Chris Daresta) & R_Garcia (Randy Garcia) performed a live improvised set on Atlanta's 91.1 WREK FM.
Heavy on free jazz, noise and psych-rock, with tinges of funk and dub thrown in for good measure, this performance is as expressive as it is assaulting -- at times: immeasurably quiet, at other times: blasting full stride into the infinite.
Originally released as a limited edition of 30 CD's to coincide with the R_Garcia/Recompas improv duo tour of 2006, this updated version has been edited for continuity and relieved of its banter and station ID's. This is the meat of the performance: unchained, wild and totally FREE.
